The book presents a walk through the double exhibition of Raimund Kummer Schliess die verdammten Eisfach! in the Hochschulgalerie and Kummer weint in the Montagehalle of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig. Two photographic artistic essays, an artist‘s statement by Raimund Kummer, two conversations with the artist by Eugen Blume and Ulrike Pennewitz, the title libretto of the installation “Schliess die verdammten Eisfach!”, texts by the artist on the photographs exhibited in the Montagehalle document the entire double exhibition and expand on it through the narrative. The catalog transforms the two exhibition prototypes into the book form, which remains active as a work beyond the spatial arrangement and is a decisive component of the overall form of the artist‘s project.

I studied fine arts and communication design at the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK), graduating in 2009 and 2011.Since 2008, I have been developing individual publication concepts for artists, museums, galleries, and theaters. 

My projects include books, exhibition catalogs, cover designs, posters, signage, logos, typographic concepts for wall lettering and more. Each piece reflects a meticulous and distinctive graphic design style. 

My service covers the entire design process, from research and analysis to development and pre-press. My portfolio includes work for institutions such as Arp Museum Bhf. Rolandseck, Sammlung Falckenberg/Deichtorhallen Hamburg, Kunsthalle Nürnberg, and promotional materials for Kunstverein St. Pauli, Textem publishing house, Kulturbehörde Hamburg, and other cultural organizations.
